Ciao! I'm Linda, an Italian tutor with a passion for helping people connect with the language and culture I love.

My path here wasn't a straight line - I hold a bachelor's degree in Set Design, and that creative background still shapes how I teach today: I love finding visual, hands-on ways to make lessons come alive. Over the past 5 years, I've taught Italian to individuals and groups, online and in person, working with students of all ages - from curious kids to adults and seniors. I started my teaching journey at the Hamko School in the Czech Republic, and since then I've built a teaching style rooted in flexibility and genuine connection.

How I teach

Every student is different, so my lessons are too. Depending on your goals, we can focus on:

  • For younger learners: songs, games, and hands-on activities that make learning fun

Outside class

When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me in the garden, in the kitchen making fresh pasta and other Italian classics, or lost in a good book or a painting. I'm also into sewing and photography - I'm a curious, hands-on person, and I try to bring that same energy and enthusiasm into every lesson.

Frequently Asked Questions

💻 Where do the lessons take place?

Online lessons are held on Google Meet. In-person lessons are available inLisbon, usually at the students house. Arrangements will be made after booking.

💰 How do I pay?

I accept bank transfers directly to my business account. Payment must be made before the lesson (or upfront in the case of bundles). Invoices are available upon request.

🔄 What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens! You cancancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged.

👥 Do you offer group lessons?row

Yes! Small group lessons (2–5 students) are available on request - perfect for couples, friends, or colleagues learning together. Group pricing starts at €25 per person.

📱 Can I ask questions between lessons?

Absolutely! I'm available on WhatsApp and email 24/7 for quick questions, practice, or feedback.

🎓 Do you prepare students for language exams?

Yes - I’ve helped many students prepare for and pass the language exam needed for citizenship or residency. Lessons include mock tests and focused prep.

🎁 Do you offer a free trial lesson?

Not exactly! I offer a 20-minute intro session, free of charge, depending on availability. It’s a great chance to talk about your goals and other details about lessons.

🧾 Are you a registered business?

Yes. Payments are made to my business bank account, and invoices can be issued upon request.
